Remember Ben & Andie? A ‘How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days’ Sequel Is In The Works!
- The iconic rom-com is getting a sequel!
- Kate Hudson is back, and we’re hoping for Matthew McConaughey too.
- Why the original still has our hearts.
You won’t believe what we just heard! Our favorite early 2000s rom-com, ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,’ is actually getting a sequel. Yes. A sequel! This is not a drill, people.
Paramount is busy cooking it up. And guess who’s already on board as a producer? None other than Kate Hudson herself. She’s the best!
The studio has a big wish: to reunite Hudson and Matthew McConaughey on screen. We are manifesting this. Imagine them together again! Their chemistry? Unmatched.
The original film had such a specific, vibrant yellow-and-blue visual aesthetic. That glossy magazine vibe, you know? It just screamed New York chic. It still feels fresh after all these years.
Remember the classic rom-com moments? The ‘love fern,’ the ‘You’re so vain’ karaoke scene. Pure gold. It’s why the movie remains such a favourite, bringing that perfect mix of comedy and genuine heart. It was a whole mood.
Some things just stick with you. Like a catchy song you can’t get out of your head – a bit like how Taylor Swift’s hit song almost started as a sad ballad, but then became something iconic. This movie is iconic.
What a thought! A whole new chapter for Andie Anderson and Ben Barry. We wonder what they’d be up to now. Still playing games? Or finally settled into their happily ever after?
When we heard the news, we literally had a ‘Hold up!’ moment. Just like Sonam Kapoor saying ‘Hold Up!’, we had to double-check. But it’s true!
This is definitely one of those unexpected surprises that makes you go, ‘Whoa!’ It’s not every day a beloved classic gets a fresh look, kind of like Kit Harington heading to Hogwarts (but not how you think!). We’re beyond excited to see what they dream up.
Our Take
We think this sequel has huge potential. The original movie perfectly captured that early 2000s charm. If they can bring back that magic and keep the playful spirit, it’s going to be a massive hit. We just need Ben and Andie back!
