The ninth Malaysia International Film Festival, or MIFFest, just kicked off. It started on July 18th. Right there at MyTown Shopping Centre.
And the vibe? Electric! Imagine a super fancy red carpet. So many filmmakers and stars were there. All dressed up. It looked amazing. The colors were probably popping under those lights. Very festive.
But wait, there’s more! MIFFest didn’t just open. It earned something super special. It got official recognition from ASEAN Records! That’s a huge deal for the festival. Like, seriously big bragging rights.
For eight whole days, you can dive into international cinema. Think amazing stories. From all over the world.
Behind all this awesomeness is Joanne Goh. She’s the founder and president. What a visionary! Making sure film gets its moment.
