We just saw something that totally flipped our script on cinema. Ten filmmakers recently showed off their new short films at the Raindance Film Festival, and they weren’t shot on fancy Hollywood cameras. They were built entirely on CapCut.
This project, called ‘Lost Canon’, is honestly wild. The aesthetic is surreal, featuring dreamy colors and textures you usually only see in big-budget CGI projects. It’s gritty, tech-forward, and looks like it belongs in an art gallery.
