The 2026 World Cup is officially underway, and wow, it’s already facing some serious challenges. Jesse called it “arguably the most toxic sporting event in modern history.” That’s a powerful statement, right?
It feels like the whole event has this really heavy, almost gloomy aesthetic hanging over it, not the usual bright, celebratory colors we’d expect from such a massive global competition. What a shame for the sport.
Our Insider also touched on the Seriencamp Report. Sounds like there’s some interesting stuff bubbling up in the world of TV shows and new stories. We love hearing about creative projects taking shape!
And then, the news that really made us gasp: ‘Doctor Who’ has been “ditched.” What?! We honestly had to read that twice. This show is such a legend, known for its amazing visuals and mind-bending adventures.
Our Take
This report is a real rollercoaster of emotions for us. On one hand, the World Cup news is pretty disheartening, and we truly hope things improve. We want to see the focus shift back to the spirit of the game.
