Whoa! Pinocchio Just Got a Flesh & Blood Makeover for the Wild Poohniverse!
- What’s Inside
- Pinocchio’s shockingly gory new look
- The growing crew of twisted childhood icons
- Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s ‘kooky’ vision
You won’t believe what just crashed into the world of twisted childhood tales!
Pinocchio. Yes, that wooden puppet. He’s totally unstrung now. We’re talking flesh and blood, folks. A far cry from his Disney days! This new movie, “Pinocchio Unstrung,” sounds wild.
Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield is behind this. He calls it ‘kooky, crazy and fun.’ And he’s not wrong about the ‘crazy’ part! Pinocchio is officially barging nose-first into the “Poohniverse.”
Remember “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” from 2023? That started this whole thing. Now Pooh, Bambi, and Peter Pan have another friend. A bloody, flesh-and-blood friend. Imagine that aesthetic!
Dark. Creepy. Definitely not for kids. The director promises an ‘Avengers’-style mashup. “Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble” is the name. Classic characters getting a scary makeover. It’s a whole new vibe for these old stories.
Our Take
We are absolutely here for this! Who knew our beloved childhood stories could get such a dark, visual twist? Seeing Pinocchio go from a wooden boy to something covered in flesh and blood? That’s quite the transformation. It feels edgy. A fresh take on classic art. We can’t wait to see this “Monsters Assemble” come to life. It’s going to be a wild ride!
