- Get ready for a wild ride at the Sanfic Mórbido Lab!
- We’re talking LGBTQ+ alien monster comedies, extreme horror, and ancient parables.
- It’s all happening in Santiago, Chile, this November.
You won’t believe what’s brewing in Santiago, Chile! We just got the scoop on the 7th Sanfic Mórbido Lab, and our minds are officially blown. This isn’t just any film festival.
This lab is a super big deal for new, exciting genre films in Latin America. It’s where the next big scares, laughs, and thought-provokers are born. Part of the larger Sanfic Industria, it runs from November 2-8.
And the lineup? Wow. The whole vibe is just electric. We’re talking such a cool mix of visuals and stories. Imagine a whole spectrum of movie aesthetics, from colorful cosmic chaos to chilling dark shadows and ancient, earthy tones.
There’s Simón and Raimundo Bucher’s “L4IK4.” This one sounds like an amazing LGBTQ+ alien monster comedy. Seriously, how cool is that? We’re already picturing the vibrant designs!
Then, if you like to be seriously scared, Roberto San Sebastián’s “The Hostess” is coming. Expect extreme horror here. No sleeping after that one, probably.
And Javier Attridge’s “Beneath the Flesh”? That’s a deep dive. It brings a Mapuche parable to life, mixed with Cold War sci-fi. So much to unpack there. What a unique blend of history and future.
These three are already looking like total standouts. The Sanfic Mórbido Lab is truly a place for stories that push boundaries. We can’t wait to see what amazing visions come out of this.
