You won’t believe what we just heard! Canada’s own 9 Light Entertainment is making a HUGE splash in the film world. Like, a really big splash.
They’re not just making movies anymore. Nope. They’re launching their very own sales and distribution arm. That means they’ll be helping get films to you, the audience, and selling them to other places. Pretty cool, right?
And what better way to kick things off than with a movie called ‘Sound & Fury’? It’s described as a ‘comedic thriller.’ Can you imagine the vibe? We’re picturing unexpected twists, maybe some dark humor, and visuals that keep you guessing. Think bright lights clashing with shadowy corners, or a character trying to look serious but a banana peel is just behind them. It sounds like a visually exciting rollercoaster!
This film is set to start production this fall. Yep, soon! And guess who’s directing? Charles Wahl. He’s known for his awesome short films like ‘The Mohel’ and ‘Little…’ and has been a regular at SXSW. We love seeing new talent get their big break!
