Okay, so we just saw something that felt like a scene straight out of Ted Lasso itself! You know Cristó Fernández, right? The super cool guy from the show who played Dani Rojas? Well, get this: he’s actually playing professional soccer now. Like, for real.
He signed with El Paso Locomotive FC down in Texas. Imagine that! Trading in the London vibes for the Lone Star State. It’s kind of a whole mood, this whole life-imitating-art thing. The colors of Texas, the dusty pitches… it’s a whole new aesthetic he’s playing with.
He played his very first game this past Saturday. It’s wild to think about him going from acting to actually running around on the field. We’re totally here for this new adventure!
