Uh Oh! Tom Cruise’s New Movie is Flopping Hard!
- What’s Inside:
- Why Tom Cruise’s movie isn’t making waves.
- How much money it might lose.
- What we think about it.
We just saw some wild news about Tom Cruise. You know, the guy from Top Gun and Mission Impossible? Well, his latest movie, ‘Digger,’ is totally bombing at the box office.
Seriously, it’s his worst opening in almost 20 years. The movie cost a whopping $160 million to make, and it only pulled in $8 million in the US. Globally, it’s a little better at $20 million, but still. Ouch.
We were expecting something with a cool, gritty aesthetic, maybe lots of metallic colors and industrial vibes, but it just didn’t connect. People are saying it’s a huge money pit. A C+ rating? That’s not good.
Meanwhile, documentaries are doing surprisingly well! And can you believe Kim K is holding North West back? Also, James Gunn is already planning his next movie. Crazy times.
Our Take
It’s a bummer when a big star’s movie doesn’t do well. We love seeing movies that feel like a visual feast, and it seems ‘Digger’ just didn’t deliver that magic. Hopefully, Tom’s next project will be a home run!
