‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Director Tried ‘Sneaking’ Adrian Grenier in For a Cameo But it Was ‘Too Late in Our Production Schedule to Make it Happen’
- The director spilled a juicy secret.
- Adrian Grenier was nearly back as Nate.
- Why it didn’t happen.
- Our take on Andy’s ex.
You won’t believe what we just found out! The director behind the much-talked-about ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ sequel had a little secret up his sleeve. David Frankel, the man guiding the film, apparently tried something sneaky. Very sneaky!
He really wanted Adrian Grenier back! Remember Adrian? He played Nate, Andy Sachs’ (that’s Anne Hathaway!) boyfriend from the first iconic film. We’re talking about the guy who put up with all of Andy’s Miranda Priestly drama. Iconic.
Frankel told Entertainment Weekly he even tried to just ‘sneak’ him into a scene. Like, a surprise! But alas. It was just too late. The production schedule was already packed, and the moment passed. What a bummer for fans!
Imagine the vibe! Nate, back in Andy’s life, even for a moment. Would he still be making gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches? The aesthetic of the original movie was all about high fashion meets real-life struggles. Nate was the real-life anchor. His return would have brought a whole wave of nostalgia. Fans would have gone wild seeing that familiar face again!
It makes you wonder how much these connections matter, doesn’t it? Like how Nicole Kidman makes time to hug her daughters every day, really focusing on that bond. Find out why Nicole Kidman hugs her daughters for 2 minutes a day!
Our Take
Seriously, BuzzMedia team here, and we’re kinda bummed. Nate was… well, he was Nate. A character who got a lot of flak but was totally central to Andy’s pre-fashion world. It would have been a cool little nod to the original, a moment for the long-time fans. A missed opportunity? Definitely.
It reminds us how much fans react to news, good or bad, sometimes even when celebrities are just trying to be themselves. Check out this viral video where Kailash Kher gets criticized for snapping at a host!
But hey, maybe it’s for the best? Andy and Nate’s story had its ups and downs. Maybe a cameo would have just complicated things. What do you think? While we wait for more movie news, have you checked out this new film streaming? Here’s when and where to watch G. V. Prakash Kumar’s film, Happy Raj, online! We’re always looking for the next big thing!
