He really wanted Adrian Grenier back! Remember Adrian? He played Nate, Andy Sachs’ (that’s Anne Hathaway!) boyfriend from the first iconic film. We’re talking about the guy who put up with all of Andy’s Miranda Priestly drama. Iconic.

Frankel told Entertainment Weekly he even tried to just ‘sneak’ him into a scene. Like, a surprise! But alas. It was just too late. The production schedule was already packed, and the moment passed. What a bummer for fans!

Seriously, BuzzMedia team here, and we’re kinda bummed. Nate was… well, he was Nate. A character who got a lot of flak but was totally central to Andy’s pre-fashion world. It would have been a cool little nod to the original, a moment for the long-time fans. A missed opportunity? Definitely.
