- German crime drama SOKO is selling big time.
- Buyers are snapping up the show in tons of countries.
- ZDF Studios is behind the news.
We just saw some super exciting news from ZDF Studios! Their German crime drama, SOKO, is still a massive hit with viewers everywhere. It’s like the show has its own cool fan club in so many different countries.
Think about it. This isn’t just one or two places. Nope! SOKO has been picked up by 12 different broadcasters this year alone. We’re talking about places like the UK with Walter Presents, Croatia with RTL, and even the Netherlands thanks to Talpa. It’s pretty wild!
We love seeing shows with a strong visual style, and SOKO always has that classic, gritty crime drama aesthetic. It feels like you’re right there in the middle of the mystery. That visual vibe definitely adds to its appeal, doesn’t it?
This is proof that good stories can travel. Doesn’t matter where they come from. People just want to watch compelling shows. And SOKO is definitely one of those!
Our Take
Honestly, it’s awesome to see a German series doing so well on a global scale. It shows that storytelling has no borders! We’re hoping to catch some episodes ourselves soon. It’s always fun to see a show connect with so many people. Keep those crime dramas coming, ZDF Studios!
