SNL UK Fires Back at Shane Gillis in Epic Style!
- What’s Inside: SNL UK’s sassy response to Shane Gillis.
- A bit of playful shade thrown.
- Why we think it’s brilliant.
Okay, you guys, we just saw something that made us grin. While our favorite U.S. Saturday Night Live was taking a break, its British cousin, SNL UK, was NOT playing nice!
Their “Weekend Update” segment had a moment. Co-host Ania Magliano totally went there with a joke about Shane Gillis. You know, the guy who hosted SNL last week and made some comments about women?
Well, Ania wrapped up her bit with some seriously sharp words for him. The vibe was pure, no-holds-barred comedy, delivered with a bold, almost defiant aesthetic that we can totally appreciate.
It’s the kind of witty comeback that feels fresh and fearless. We love seeing different takes on comedy, and this one? It’s a total win in our book.
Our Take
Honestly, we love this. It shows that comedy can be sharp and smart, pushing back without being mean-spirited. Ania’s delivery was perfect – witty and impactful. It’s a reminder that a good joke can be a powerful tool, and SNL UK totally nailed it this time!
