Finally, some news about our favorite frozen friends! We just saw the first look at Ice Age: Boiling Point from CinemaCon in Las Vegas. It has been more than a decade since we saw Manny and the gang on the big screen. A whole decade. Can you believe it?
Ray Romano, Denis Leary, and Queen Latifah were all there to tease the new story. It hits theaters next February. We are so ready for this. The movie looks crisp. Clean. The visual style has a really cool high-contrast vibe. We loved seeing the bright orange lava clashing against the deep blue ice. It’s a total aesthetic shift for the series.

We think this move back to the big screen is a smart play. The colors in the footage look much more vibrant than the older films. It feels fresh. We are a little worried about Scrat’s parenting skills, though. Let’s hope that baby squirrel is faster than he is! It is going to be a fun, warm story for a cold February.
