Okay, so we just saw some super interesting news about Rafe Spall! He was at this big event called MIPCOM Cannes. You know, where all the cool TV shows and movies get shown off. He’s going to play Sherlock Holmes!
But not just any Sherlock. This is for a show called ‘The Death of Sherlock Holmes’. And get this, he said playing this Sherlock feels like a “clean slate”. Imagine that! A totally new start for the famous detective.
The show is going to fill in the gaps. You know how Sherlock supposedly died at Reichenbach Falls back in 1891? And then he came back later? This series is all about that time in between. It sounds like it will have a really moody, maybe even a bit gritty, aesthetic, which we love!
We’re already picturing the visuals. Dark London streets, swirling fog… it’s going to be a whole vibe.
