You guys! We just got the deets on the Venice Critics’ Week 2026 lineup, and seriously, it’s making us want to pack our bags right now. This isn’t the main Venice Film Festival, nope. This is the super cool ‘Settimana Internazionale della Critica’ – basically, where all the exciting new directors get their shine.
It’s all about fresh voices. Think vibrant new stories. New ways of seeing the world. The Union of Italian Film Critics (SNCCI) organises this special event. It’s their 41st edition!
They’re showcasing nine films in total. Seven features are in competition for awards. Two more are showing out of competition. So much to look forward to!
And get this: Colombia is bringing some major heat! They’ve got a strong presence this year. We love to see it.
