We just saw something wild on Twitter/X, and it’s all about our favorite web-slinger! A trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’ popped up online. Yep, an unauthorized leak!
It was a sneak peek at the third ‘Spider-Verse’ movie. We can only imagine the amazing colors and the unique animation style we’ll see! But this wasn’t supposed to happen.
Co-writer and producer Chris Miller wasted no time speaking out. He said he’s ‘not a fan of leaks of unfinished footage.’ Totally understandable, right?
Think about it. Artists work so hard to make these films perfect. Getting a raw, unpolished look takes away from the big reveal.
The movie isn’t even due out until June 18, 2027. That’s a long way off! So much can change between now and then.

We totally get where Chris Miller is coming from. Imagine pouring your heart into something, perfecting every single frame, every single sound.
Then, boom, someone shares an early, unready version. It just spoils the magic a bit, doesn’t it?
We hope fans can still get excited for the official release. The vibe of these movies is always so incredible, and we can’t wait to see the finished product.
