That’s right! Romy and Michele are coming back for a sequel. Can you believe it? Thirty years later, and we’re getting more of this dynamic duo.
The stars themselves, Mira and Lisa, were just at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. It was in sunny Anaheim, California. They were there to give us a sneak peek at Romy & Michele 2.
And get this: they’re not just acting in it. Both Mira and Lisa are executive producing the film! Talk about taking control of their story. We love to see it.
Mira recently called Lisa Kudrow a “great acting partner.” How sweet is that? Their chemistry is just undeniable, even after all this time.
We think the original movie has stuck with us because it’s just so… them. The bright, colorful outfits. The pure friendship goals. That totally unique Y2K aesthetic was just everything!

We are absolutely buzzing about this sequel! Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion was a classic. It was funny. It was heartfelt. It was all about friendship.
Seeing Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow together again is going to be amazing. We can’t wait to see what new adventures, and fabulous outfits, they bring us. Get ready for more pink and blue!
