Mubi’s Getting a Chilean Sausage Comedy and We’re Intrigued!
- What’s Inside:
- Mubi picks up a hit Chilean movie.
- It’s a comedy about sausages!
- Coming to Latin America soon.
Okay, so we just heard some super cool news from the film world. Mubi, you know, that awesome place for unique movies, has snapped up a Chilean movie called “Denominación de Origen.” And get this – it’s a sausage comedy! How fun is that?
This movie was a huge hit in Chile last year, like, seriously big. Over 100,000 people went to see it. That’s a lot of people laughing at sausages, and we are SO here for it.
The director, Tomás Alzamora, also made a film called “Little White Lie.” We haven’t seen that one yet, but if “Denominación de Origen” is anything to go by, we should probably check it out.
We’re picturing this film with bright, vibrant colors, maybe lots of warm, inviting tones reflecting the food and the culture. It sounds like it’s going to have a really fun, down-to-earth vibe.
Mubi plans to release it in Latin America later this year. We can’t wait to see if this sausage story lives up to the hype!
Our Take
Honestly, we love seeing platforms like Mubi championing diverse films, especially comedies that sound this unique. A hit sausage comedy from Chile? It’s different, it’s fun, and it proves good stories can come from anywhere. We’re always looking for that fresh, unexpected content, and this totally fits the bill. Bring on the laughs!
