Milwaukee Brewers Crash SNL’s ‘Weekend Update’ and It’s Hilarious!
- Brewers take over SNL!
- Drunk Uncle is back.
- World Series champs meet comedy legend.
We just saw the Milwaukee Brewers, fresh off their huge World Series win, make a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update.” Talk about a victory lap! Imagine celebrating a championship and then hopping over to Studio 8H.
Manager Pat Murphy, Christian Yelich (their star player!), and Brice Turang were all there. They even brought the shiny World Series trophy with them. The whole vibe was pure joy and maybe a little bit of disbelief. Seeing that trophy gleaming on the “Weekend Update” desk was a whole mood.
And guess who was waiting for them? None other than Bobby Moynihan, back as his beloved character, Drunk Uncle! He was ready to ‘interview’ the champs. You know Drunk Uncle loves a good story, and these guys definitely have one after winning it all.
It’s moments like these that just make us smile. Seeing sports heroes get a taste of pure comedy gold. It’s the perfect mix of sports excitement and iconic SNL humor.
Our Take
This is exactly what we love to see! A World Series win is a massive deal, and sharing that win with the world on a legendary show like SNL? Genius. It felt so genuine and fun, not stiff at all. Big cheers for the Brewers and for Bobby Moynihan!
