We just heard some surprising news about Ian Somerhalder!
Remember him from The Vampire Diaries? He also starred in a Netflix show called V Wars.
This was a sci-fi series. It came out seven years ago. He wasn’t just acting, though. He was also an executive producer.
Turns out, V Wars was a LOT for him. He “pulled the plug” on acting after it. It sounds like he bit off more than he could chew.
We haven’t heard much about him acting since then. The show itself had a cool, dark, moody vibe. The visuals were really striking.
He was playing Dr. Luther Swann. It was a big role. Lots of pressure, we bet.
Maybe he just needed a break. Or maybe V Wars showed him something different.
