Okay, you guys, we just got wind of some seriously cool news! The Australian drama series, ‘The Airport Chaplain,’ is about to take off worldwide. And guess what? Netflix has snapped it up for global rights. How awesome is that?
This show stars the incredible Hugo Weaving, who you might know from ‘Slow Horses.’ He plays a chaplain at an airport. Sounds interesting already, right? And Shabana Azeez, who was amazing in ‘The Pitt,’ is also in it. We’re already imagining the whole vibe – think calm moments mixed with the controlled chaos of a busy airport. The aesthetic is going to be so good, we can just feel it.
It’s from Wooden Horse, a production house in Sydney. So, it’s a true Aussie production making waves internationally. We’re so proud!

We are super excited about this! Seeing Australian stories get a global platform like Netflix is fantastic. Hugo Weaving is a legend, and we can’t wait to see him in this role. This feels like exactly the kind of quality drama we love to see get big.
