Okay, so we just saw some super exciting news! The Harry Potter TV series is officially coming back to HBO, and it looks like it’s set for 2027. Yes, you read that right. More magic is on its way!
Remember all those Hogwarts acceptance letters? Well, our new Harry, Ron, and Hermione have gotten theirs. Even some of Ron’s many siblings are joining the fun! We’re picturing those iconic owl deliveries, maybe in a slightly darker, more mature aesthetic this time around, fitting the older characters.
But hold on! There’s a little change. The role of Ginny Weasley is being recast for Season 2. Gracie Cochrane won’t be playing her anymore. It’s a bummer, but totally happens in big productions.
And yes, J.K. Rowling is involved. We’re keen to see how her vision shapes this new chapter. We’re hoping for something that feels both familiar and fresh, you know?

We’re so ready for this! Bringing the wizarding world back to the small screen in a big way is a dream. We love seeing stories we grew up with get a new life. We’ll be glued to HBO in 2027!
