Okay, so we just heard the coolest news! Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who you probably know from Loki (she was Ravonna Renslayer!), is going to be leading a brand new BBC sci-fi series. And get this, it’s all about space travel!
The show is called Sutherland. It’s set in a future, way up in the north of Scotland. Imagine those dramatic, windswept landscapes mixed with some awesome space vibes. We can already picture the aesthetic – think moody blues and grays, maybe with pops of futuristic tech. It sounds visually stunning!
Gugu is playing a character named Mirren, who works at a place called Paravel Space […]. She’s not alone though. She’ll be sharing the screen with Stuart Martin (you might have seen him in Army of Thieves) and Iain De Caestecker from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Honestly, we’re SO excited about this! Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a fantastic actress, and putting her in a space drama feels like a perfect fit.
