Get Ready to Scream (and Laugh!): ‘Anything But Ghosts’ Coming in 2027!
- What’s Inside:
- A new horror-comedy is on the way.
- It’s from the folks who brought us ‘Obsession’.
- Mark your calendars for May 2027!
We just saw some seriously exciting news drop about a new movie! Remember Curry Barker? The director behind that buzzy film ‘Obsession’? Well, he’s back with something new. It’s called ‘Anything But Ghosts’. And it sounds like it’s going to be a wild ride. Think spooks mixed with laughs. We can already picture the fun, slightly spooky aesthetic they’ll go for.
Focus Features and Blumhouse-Atomic Monster are teaming up for this one. They’ve officially set a release date: May 7, 2027. Yep, it’s still a little ways off, but good things are worth waiting for, right? Focus Features snagged the worldwide rights, and Universal Pictures International will handle things overseas. It’s all happening!
Curry Barker isn’t just directing; he also co-wrote the script. And guess who he co-wrote it with? Cooper Tomlinson, the star from ‘Obsession’! That’s right, the dynamic duo is back together. We’re definitely curious to see what kind of magic they’ll cook up this time. Get ready to clear your schedules for a frightfully fun flick!
Our Take
Okay, so 2027 feels like a lifetime away, but we are genuinely hyped for ‘Anything But Ghosts’. The combo of Curry Barker and Blumhouse usually means something pretty cool is brewing. We love a good horror-comedy that can genuinely make you jump and then laugh. This sounds like it could be exactly that. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more sneak peeks!
