You won’t believe what we just heard about! It’s from the Taiwan Creative Content Fest. A brand new movie is making some serious noise.
Picture this: a young couple in Singapore. Their names are Penny and Allan. They both work in real estate. Pretty normal, right?
Well, they have a secret side hustle. Penny sells pictures of her feet online. Yep! It’s a modern thing. But then, things get super weird. Seriously dark. They end up with a dead body. In their freezer!
This movie is called ‘Build to Order.’ It’s the first big film from director Huang Junxiang. We’re loving the dark comedy vibe it gives off. You know, that slightly twisted aesthetic. It makes you wonder if you should laugh or maybe gasp. That’s good storytelling!
It’s showing at TCCF in Taipei this week. This festival always brings out such creative projects. It really makes us think about all the cool new content coming out. It reminds us of how Taiwan is pushing to make money from awesome ideas, too! (Remember that?)
Our Take
We think ‘Build to Order’ sounds like a must-watch. It takes everyday life and flips it upside down. A freezer, a body, and feet pictures? It has all the parts for a super memorable film. We’re curious to see it!
