Imagine this: A young Métis woman named Elyse. She heads back to her ancestral home, trying to get her mental health in check. Good plan, right?
Well, not exactly. A creepy, grotesque creature starts stalking her. Yikes!
The trailer gives off such a chilling, earthy aesthetic. It’s like the land itself is watching her. The colors are dark, the mood is so unsettling.
This film has been on quite the journey. It made a splash at Cannes’ Marché du Film back in 2025. It started as a “Proof of Concept” project there, part of Fantasia’s Frontières Platform.
