We just saw some news that completely blew us away! Okay, get this. Fantaspoa, the incredible genre film festival down in Porto Alegre, Brazil, just wrapped up its 22nd year. And it wasn’t just any year. It was EPIC.

They brought in over 550,000 fans! Half a million people! Think about that for a second. That’s a huge crowd, both online and in person, all buzzing about movies. The energy must have been electric.

Imagine the vibrant visual style of all those genre films. From spooky horror to mind-bending sci-fi, the whole vibe of the festival sounds like a dream for anyone who loves unique stories and striking visuals. So much creativity on display!

The festival ran for 19 days, ending with an award ceremony on April 26. They welcomed more than 80 guests from all over the world. Plus, 24 brand-new films got their very first screening there. How cool is that?

And the big winner? A film called ‘Interior’ led the charge, taking home some top honors. We’re already curious to see what kind of cool, creative world it brings to life.
