We just heard some super exciting news hot off the press from Cannes! Eight new filmmakers just got their golden tickets. They’ve been picked for the Pop Up Film Residency’s 2026 edition.
This means a summer full of creative adventures across Europe! The big announcement happened Tuesday. Where? At the Cannes Marché du Film’s Village Innovation.
Imagine the buzz and energy there – definitely a moment for celebration! Think about the vibe! These artists will be soaking up inspiration in incredible, picturesque European locations.
It’s a cinematic dream, setting the stage for some truly colorful and visually stunning stories to come alive on screen. The Pop Up Film Residency started way back in 2018. Since then, it’s supported over 150 artistic residencies. That’s a huge number of dreams helped!
