  • Happening in Toronto!

Hey everyone! We just saw some super exciting news for anyone who loves queer films. Inside Out, the folks behind Canada’s big LGBTQ+ film festival, are putting on their 10th International Film Financing Forum. And guess what? Netflix is sponsoring it!

They’ve picked eight projects from filmmakers who have already shown their work at big festivals like Cannes and Sundance. We’re talking about films like “Summer in Heat” from Levan Akin and “Suffering is Optional” by Zarrar Khan. Imagine the stories they’ll tell! We can already picture the vibrant visuals and the unique ‘vibe’ these films will bring to the screen.

This is happening in Toronto on May 28-29. It’s a chance for these filmmakers to get the support they need to bring their stories to life. It’s all about making sure queer voices and stories get the platform they deserve. We love seeing this kind of spotlight on creative talent.

Our Take

We think this is fantastic! It’s so important to have events like this that help get diverse stories made and seen. It shows that queer cinema is strong and has a bright future. We’re all about supporting art that tells real stories, and this forum is doing just that!
