Guys, we are SO excited about this one! You know how much we love a good Cannes moment, right? Well, Neon, the same folks who bring us so many cool movies, just did it again. They’ve won the Palme d’Or at Cannes for their seventh year in a row!
This year’s big winner is a movie called ‘Fjord’. It’s directed by Christian Mungiu, and get this – it’s his first movie in English! The film stars Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve. We’re already picturing the moody, beautiful visuals of a Norwegian fjord – the aesthetic is definitely going to be a major draw.
The story sounds really interesting. Sebastian and Renate play a couple, half Romanian and half Norwegian, who move with their kids to the wife’s hometown in a fjord village. They’re hoping for a fresh start. We can’t wait to see how this unfolds on screen!

Honestly, seven years in a row? That’s some serious magic happening at Neon. We love seeing them champion these incredible films that might not get as much attention otherwise. ‘Fjord’ sounds like it has all the ingredients for a captivating watch, and we’re here for it!
