We just saw some super exciting news! The Black List, you know, the group that highlights the best unproduced screenplays, has announced the writers they’ve chosen for their 2026 Writers Lab. This is a big deal for aspiring storytellers!
This year, six writers and their projects made the cut. Get ready for Elton de Almeida’s ‘A Mark of Kin’, Yasmin DeWinter’s ‘Guillaume’, Scott Leddy’s ‘Nightwatch’, Marcelle Pallais’ ‘One Last Summer’, Alexander Seltzer and Kyle Jutkiewicz’s ‘Depths’, and Emma Taylor Stock’s ‘Denial’. That’s a lot of potential hits!
The vibe feels fresh, full of bright ideas and the promise of amazing visuals. Imagine the cool aesthetic these stories could bring to the screen! The program is already in its 13th year, which just shows how much they champion new voices.
Our Take
We at BuzzMedia Times are always on the lookout for new talent. Seeing The Black List shine a spotlight on these writers is fantastic. We can’t wait to see their stories come to life!
