Ben Affleck’s Co-Stars Just Voted Him for Mayor… For Real?
- Ben Affleck: Actor, Director, Politician?
- His New Role Hits Close to Home
- What His Cast Thinks
- Our Take
You won’t believe what Ben Affleck’s co-stars are campaigning for! We just heard some wild news about the actor and his new film, ‘Animals’.
In this thriller, Ben plays a businessman from Brentwood. His character runs for Los Angeles mayor. It sounds pretty intense. The movie has a very gritty, real-world political vibe.
But here’s the kicker. Ben didn’t just act in it; he also directed and helped write ‘Animals’. We all know he’s been super involved in politics outside of movies for a long time. He’s supported big names like Obama, Clinton, Biden, and Harris.
Now, his cast members are actually suggesting he should run for office! Imagine that. Maybe they loved his on-screen campaign too much, or they just see a natural leader. It’s a pretty funny twist. Ben even joked, ‘Maybe they hate me!’
The whole aesthetic of a political campaign, with all its promises and pressures, seems to resonate deeply with this story. Speaking of Ben, remember when we talked about him using AI for his new Netflix movie? (Check it out here!) He’s always pushing boundaries, whether it’s filmmaking or maybe… real-life politics?
Our Take
We think it’s pretty cool when actors dive deep into their roles. Ben Affleck clearly brought a lot of his real-world political passion to ‘Animals’. It makes us wonder how much of the character is actually him.
It really shows how convincing he must be in the film. The thought of a celeb jumping into politics isn’t new, but Ben definitely has the background. We’d certainly tune in for that election!
