We just got some awesome news that’s going to make a lot of aspiring filmmakers jump for joy!
Big things are happening for Asian Pacific storytellers thanks to CAPE (that’s the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) and Janet Yang Productions. They’ve teamed up for something super cool: the Julia S. Gouw Short Film Challenge. And guess what? Four lucky filmmakers just snagged $25,000 each to make their movies!
That’s a lot of cash to bring their visual dreams to life. Imagine the stories! The colors, the unique visual style these films will evoke. A whole new aesthetic is about to hit our screens.
