We just saw the trailer for ‘Apex,’ and wow, it’s got Charlize Theron kicking butt. She’s up against nature and Taron Egerton. Looks intense!

Visually, the movie has a really cool, gritty vibe. Think muted colors, wild landscapes. It’s definitely got that survivalist aesthetic down.

But here’s the thing. The word on the street is that while the action and the stars are great, the story is a bit… seen it all before. A predictable script, they’re saying.

It’s a shame when a movie looks this good but doesn’t quite surprise us with its plot. We’re still curious to see Charlize do her thing, though!
