The Apartment Job Finale: Ji Sung’s Park Hae Kang Gets His Man (But Not His Girl?)
- What went down in the finale?
- Did Ji Sung’s character get his sweet revenge?
- And what about that romance?
- Our take on the ending!
Finally, some news about The Apartment Job!
We just finished watching the final episode. Wow. What a ride for 12 episodes, right?
So, Park Hae Kang (played by the amazing Ji Sung) officially closed his case. He took down Chung Won. Boom! Justice served. The whole series had this cool, almost comic-book feel to its visuals, especially in those intense confrontation scenes. Very crisp. Very clean.
His journey felt complete. Satisfying, even. We love a good bad guy getting what they deserve, don’t we? It felt like the final brushstroke on a masterpiece of a plan.
But wait. There’s always a ‘but’ with K-dramas, isn’t there? That Ha Ri romance? Left hanging. Unresolved. Like a cliffhanger that just… hangs. We were really hoping for a sweet wrap-up there. Sometimes you want all the bows tied up perfectly. Remember how some storylines just leave you wanting more, like that infamous Bollywood feud?
It definitely kept us talking. And guessing! Is that how they wanted it? To leave us dreaming of what could be?
Our Take
We think the ending was super strong for Park Hae Kang’s main mission. He achieved his goal. That’s a huge win! The aesthetic of triumph was clear. But for the romance, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some of us on the BuzzMedia team loved the ambiguity. Others are still sending angry emojis to the screen. It’s tough when you root for a couple and they don’t quite get there. Still, it made for great TV. And now we have a reason to rewatch and imagine our own endings!
