We just found out some news that’s making our inner child jump for joy! Remember those super cool spy siblings, Carmen and Juni Cortez? Of course, you do! They saved the world, like, a bunch of times.
Alexa PenaVega and Daryl Sabara, the amazing actors who played them, just reunited. Big news! It was all in honor of the original Spy Kids film’s 25th anniversary. Can you believe it’s been that long? We feel old.
And guess what? They’ve been thinking about their characters. A lot. They believe Carmen and Juni would be incredible parents today. Seriously. Total “cool mom” and “cool dad” vibes, right? We can totally see it. Imagine their kids’ school projects!

Our Take
We absolutely love this idea. It feels so right. Carmen and Juni, with all their spy training and teamwork, would be the most prepared parents ever. No tantrum could surprise them. No lost toy would remain lost for long. This is the sequel we truly need. Not just new spies, but the original ones, rocking parenthood. Pure gold!
