We just saw some news about Zoe Saldaña, and you guys, she’s made a decision! She’s been amazing in Taylor Sheridan’s show ‘Lioness,’ playing Joe McNamara. It’s a tough role, and she’s totally owning it.
But here’s the thing. Zoe said that playing Joe is ‘all that I can handle at this time.’ That means she doesn’t have plans to jump into any other shows from Taylor Sheridan. You know, like the ones set in that gritty, Western vibe with wide-open spaces and tough characters. It’s a whole mood, visually!
So, if you were hoping to see her in ‘Yellowstone’ or another one of his series, looks like that’s a no-go. She loves working with him, but one intense show is plenty for her right now. Smart move, we say!
Our Take
Honestly, we get it! Playing a character like Joe in ‘Lioness’ sounds super demanding. It’s great that Zoe knows her limits and is focusing on doing one thing really well. Sometimes, less is more, especially when the work is this intense. We’re still excited to see what she does next, even if it’s not in the Taylor Sheridan universe!
