We just saw the news, and we are SO excited! CBS is making a pilot for a new comedy called ‘Hilda! (In Lights!)’. Get this: it’s about a 70-year-old woman who wants to make it big on Broadway!
Seriously, how cool is that? It feels like a story with so much heart. We can already picture the vibrant costumes and the dazzling stage lights. It’s got this amazing ‘can-do’ vibe, you know?
CBS is already planning for the 2027-28 TV season, which is super smart. They’ve ordered this pilot, and it sounds like exactly the kind of feel-good show people will love. It’s written by Abbey Caldwell, who also wrote ‘Laid’.
Our Take
We love this! It’s refreshing to see a story focusing on dreams that don’t have an age limit. It reminds us of that amazing ‘Miss Navajo’ musical we were talking about. Never give up on what makes you happy!
