We just saw the best news for our weekend movie plans. Remember the chaos of the first two movies? Well, get ready for more. It is actually happening.
Universal is officially starting work on Ride Along 3. They are talking to Ice Cube and Kevin Hart right now. We really need this reunion. It has been way too long.
Director Tim Story and producer Will Packer are also in talks to return. It feels like getting the whole gang back together. Exciting. Simple as that.
Daniel Gold is the new writer joining the team. He has worked on some funny comedy series before. We think he will bring some fresh energy to the script. We can’t wait to see the first draft.
As art grads, we love the visual contrast between these two stars. Ice Cube has that grumpy, dark aesthetic. Kevin is all bright colors and fast movements. The ‘vibe’ of their height difference alone is a masterpiece.

Honestly? We missed them. Kevin Hart and Ice Cube have a chemistry that you just can’t fake. It is loud, messy, and very funny. We hope they keep that vibrant, sunny action-movie feel we loved in the first two films. Let’s hope the script is as sharp as Ice Cube’s stare!
