Okay, BuzzMedia fam, guess what just dropped? We just saw the FIRST LOOK at two MAJOR characters from the upcoming Ramayana movie! And seriously, you won’t believe who’s stepping into these iconic shoes.
Yep, none other than Lara Dutta is set to embody Queen Kaikeyi. We’re picturing her character poster with such a regal, almost intense vibe. It’s a mix of strength and perhaps a hint of the storm to come, hinting at a rich and complex aesthetic.
And then there’s Manthara! The makers revealed Sheeba Chadha in the role. Can you even imagine? We bet her visual style is all about subtle cunning, maybe a slightly shadowed look that just *screams* mischief. It’s an interesting casting choice that gives us chills already.
These exciting reveals dropped ahead of the Diwali 2026 release. What a way to build hype! We are already buzzing with excitement about the depth these amazing actors will bring.
It totally reminds us of the buzz when Allu Arjun just called Gona Ganna Reddy ‘Iconic’! Some roles are just destined to be remembered. These castings feel exactly like that.
Bringing such complex and legendary figures to life? That’s truly an art. Just like Jen and Ben making co-parenting look like art, these actors are set to transform. We can’t wait to see their magic on screen.
Our Take
We think these castings are absolutely brilliant. Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi feels like such a powerful, unexpected move. And Sheeba Chadha as Manthara? Genius! They’re going to bring such gravitas and nuance to these legendary figures. We can’t wait to see the full visual spectacle unfold.
