We just saw some exciting news drop about a new indie movie called ‘Holy Whore’. It’s going to star Mariel Hemingway, who you might remember from ‘Manhattan’, and Sophia Adler from ‘Harlan Coben’s Shelter’.
This sounds like it’s going to have a really interesting vibe. We’re imagining a kind of moody, maybe even a bit gritty aesthetic. Like something you’d see in a powerful painting, you know?
Filming is set to kick off in Mexico this summer. It’s also a big deal because it’s the first feature film in six years for the director, Deborah Kampmeier. Her past work includes the Sundance film ‘Hounddog’.
