Film Fest Fun in the Mountains! Here’s Who Won Big at Mammoth Lakes

Mountains at the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival
  • What’s Inside:
  • Mammoth Lakes Film Fest winners!
  • North American vs. International champs.
  • A little film fest vibe!

We just heard about the winners from the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival! This was the 12th year for the event, held in the cool mountain town of Mammoth Lakes in California. It sounds like it was a super fun few days, from May 20th to the 24th.

In the North American category, the jury picked “Mono 222” for best feature film. Quinton Dominguez directed it. Sounds like a great choice!

For the international side, “Dreaming of Lions” took home the prize for best narrative feature. Paolo Marinou-Blanco both directed and wrote this one. We bet it had an amazing aesthetic, maybe with a lot of deep blues and fiery reds, given the title!

Our Take

We love seeing indie films get their moment in the spotlight. It’s awesome that festivals like Mammoth Lakes give these stories a platform. Congrats to all the winners!
