Charlie Cox Reflects On Disney’s Initial ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Creative Pivot & Credits Marvel For Listening: “We’re Indebted To Them”
- What’s Inside
- Charlie Cox speaks out.
- Marvel heard the fans!
- A fresh start for Daredevil.
We just saw some really cool news about the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again show!
You know how sometimes shows get a whole new direction? Well, that happened here. After the big writers’ strike last year, the folks at Marvel decided to shake things up.
And guess what? Charlie Cox, who plays our favorite devil of Hell’s Kitchen, is giving them a big shout-out. He says he and Vincent D’Onofrio (that’s Kingpin!) are super thankful that Marvel actually listened to their ideas.
He mentioned they’re “indebted” to Marvel. That’s a strong word! It sounds like they’re really happy with how things are going now.
We’re picturing a darker, grittier vibe, you know? Maybe more street-level action, classic Daredevil style. The aesthetic is going to be key!
This pivot sounds like a really smart move. Getting the actors and creative team on the same page before the cameras start rolling is a big deal.
It feels like Marvel learned from past experiences and really wants this Daredevil revival to be something special. We’re really looking forward to seeing the final result!
Our Take
It’s awesome to see a big studio like Marvel actually listen to the people involved and the fans. This kind of creative back-and-forth can lead to the best kind of TV. We’re totally here for it!
