We just saw the most awkward yet sweet moment on late-night TV. Jimmy Fallon actually apologized to Christian Hubicki! It happened right after Christian was voted off Survivor Season 50.

You might remember the ‘Fallon Twist.’ It was a huge part of the game this season. Sadly, it played a big role in Christian’s torch getting snuffed. It felt unfair. Fans were pretty mad about it on social media.

The vibe in the studio was so different from the island. On Survivor, we see messy hair and muddy greens. In the studio, everything was sharp suits and bright blue neon lights. It was a total aesthetic clash. Christian looked way more comfortable in a chair than in the jungle.

Speaking of big vibes, we recently looked at The Rocky Horror Show revival. It’s another great time warp. Life moves fast, just like MGK at an airport. Sometimes you just have to slow down and say sorry.

We think this apology was long overdue. Christian is a fan favorite for a reason. He is smart and kind. Jimmy naming a twist after himself was funny, but it hurt the game. It’s nice to see a celebrity own their mistakes. We still want to see Christian play again!
