We just saw the news, and it hit us hard. Patrick Muldoon, the actor we remember from Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place, and of course, the super cool movie Starship Troopers, has passed away. He was only 57.
It sounds like it was sudden, a heart attack. It’s always a shock when someone so young leaves us. We’re really feeling for his family and friends right now.
We loved his work. Starship Troopers, with its over-the-top sci-fi vibe and bright, almost campy aesthetic, was such a memorable film. And seeing him on TV dramas? He had a real presence.
Before acting, he was a football player at USC. Pretty cool background, right? It just adds another layer to who he was.
Our Take
It’s always a tough day when we lose someone from the screen. Patrick Muldoon brought characters to life for so many of us. We’ll be thinking of him and all the moments he gave us as viewers. Rest in peace, Patrick.
