Godzilla’s Roar is Making Bank! Plus, a Catto’s Coin!
- What’s Inside:
- Godzilla’s early box office wins
- The Cat in the Hat’s preview numbers
- Our thoughts on these movie mashups
Okay, you guys! We just saw some seriously exciting box office news, and we had to spill the tea. Godzilla Minus Zero, the new R-rated flick, is already kicking butt! It’s raking in about $6 million from preview showings. That’s huge!
Think about it. People are rushing to see this monster. It includes special fan shows from Godzilla Day. The vibes are clearly monster-ific, with lots of dark, smoky, and intense visuals we can only imagine.
And get this! It’s actually doing better than that new Predator movie. Wow. That’s some serious monster power!
Meanwhile, the Dr. Seuss classic, ‘Cat in the Hat’, is also bringing in the dough. It snagged $1 million in its previews. Cute, but can it compete with a giant lizard?
It’s pretty wild seeing these different movies doing so well. Monsters and rhyming cats. We love the variety!
Our Take
Honestly, we’re loving that Godzilla Minus Zero is making such a splash. It shows that people are ready for darker, more adult takes on classic creatures. And hey, a million for the Cat in the Hat? Not too shabby for a kids’ movie. It’s a win-win for movie lovers everywhere!
