- Prime Video is bringing it to you.
- We’ve got the scoop on the release date and what it looks like!
Finally, some news about Charlie Hunnam’s new series ‘Criminal’ just dropped! And oh boy, are we excited. Prime Video has just unveiled some first look images. They even dropped a teaser trailer! Pretty cool, right?
This show sounds wild. It’s based on a graphic novel series. Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips created it. Imagine a whole world of interconnected crime stories. An “interlocking universe,” they call it. And guess who’s leading the charge? Charlie Hunnam!
From what we’ve seen, the vibe is intense. It’s dark. Gritty. Very moody. The visual style really pops, with deep shadows and sharp contrasts that scream crime drama. You can almost feel the tension just by looking at the pictures.
The first part is called “Coward.” It has four episodes. Mark your calendars for January 13, 2027! Yes, it’s a bit of a wait. But something this good is always worth it, right?
It’s always thrilling to see our favorite stars tackle new, intense roles. It reminds us of when we heard about Josh Holloway’s new Western flick, ‘Flint’ – big news for fans! Prime Video is clearly pulling out all the stops for this one. This series could easily be the next big show everyone is buzzing about, just like how sweet everyone thought Alia Bhatt’s family snaps were.
Our Take
We’re seriously hyped for ‘Criminal’! Charlie Hunnam in a dark crime saga? Sign us up! The idea of an “interlocking universe” promises so many twists. We love a good mystery. And the moody, sharp aesthetic? Perfect for a crime story. It’s going to be tough waiting until 2027. But we have a feeling it’ll be a must-watch. What do you think? Maybe while we wait, we can catch up on what Carson Daly is up to – he’s always got something interesting happening!
