Finally, some news about a director we totally adore!
Whit Stillman. Remember him? It’s been a minute. Actually, it’s been a whole decade since his last big film! But guess what? He’s back. And he’s making a new movie.
The film is called ‘A Night at Claridge’s’. It sounds super fancy, right? Imagine the elegant dinners, the sophisticated chatter. Very Stillman. He’s bringing that unique, often witty aesthetic to life again.
Where’s all this magic happening? Not London, as you might think for Claridge’s! He’s shooting across Limerick, a city way down south in Ireland. We can almost picture the green landscapes mixing with that posh hotel vibe. It’s an interesting visual mix, for sure.
The news first dropped in Variety back in May. But this week, local papers in Limerick started sharing all the cool details. Production has officially kicked off!
Speaking of things that grab attention, don’t miss our take on whoa! A Bengaluru techie arrested over threats. Or what about the drama around the Harry Potter store opening? There’s always something interesting brewing!
Our Take
We’ve missed his clever dialogue and unique characters. A new Whit Stillman film? This is big. We can’t wait to see the finished movie and soak up that distinctive Stilmanesque charm. It’s going to be a real treat!
