The OG Lakshman Isn’t Feeling the New Ramayana Music, But Has Faith in the Director!
- What’s Inside: Sunil Lahri’s thoughts on the new Ramayana movie music.
- Nitesh Tiwari’s direction gets a thumbs up.
- A peek into why the original Lakshman is a bit bummed.
You won’t believe this! Sunil Lahri, who played the iconic Lakshman in the classic Ramayana series, has spoken out about the music for the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor starrer. And, well, he’s not exactly doing a happy dance.
He’s feeling ‘disappointed’ with the soundtrack. Ouch. We can imagine him picturing the vibrant visuals and the epic score of his time, and maybe the new vibe just isn’t hitting the same notes for him.
But here’s the twist! It’s not all bad news. Lahri still has a lot of faith in the director, Nitesh Tiwari. He believes Tiwari is doing a great job. So, even if the music isn’t his cup of tea, he’s still rooting for the movie to be a hit. That’s good to know, right?
Our Take
It’s always interesting when the original actors share their opinions on new takes of classic stories. We get it, Sunil Lahri has a deep connection to his Lakshman role and the original Ramayana. While it’s a bummer he’s not loving the music, his trust in Nitesh Tiwari is a big sign of hope. We’re excited to see the whole package come together!
