You won’t believe what’s cooking in the world of Indian cinema! We just heard some super exciting news. It’s all about making horror movies genuinely scary again. Finally!
For too long, Indian horror has been stuck. Think endless ghost stories or those ‘horror-comedy’ movies. You know the ones. But a fresh wind is blowing. A new, independent film group called Platoon One Films is ready to change the game.
They’re starting something awesome: the Platoon One Horror Lab. This isn’t just a casual workshop. It’s a focused, three-month program. They’ll pick 15 writers from all over. Imagine the talent!
These writers will get to create totally original, spine-tingling scripts. The goal? Push the genre way past the usual scares. We’re thinking new monsters, new fears, new terror. This is big.
The whole lab runs online, which is super convenient. It means more people can join, no matter where they are. We’re picturing films with a dark, intense aesthetic, a visual style that grabs you from the first frame. No more predictable jump scares here. Just pure, unadulterated fear!
This is a chance for Indian horror to really shine. To show off unique cultural fears and original concepts. We can’t wait to see the terrifying new vibe these creators bring to the screen. Get ready to cover your eyes!
